Old Muscovado Sugar Mill
In 1920, Don Ramiro Jocson, caused the construction of a Muscovado Sugar Mill, later named the San Jose Muscovado Factory at Hacienda Raming. While sugar is now milled at various modern sugar centrals,this old muscovado sugar mill was preserved by the heirs of the owners to mark the golden years of the sugar industry in Hinigaran. Today, with the help of the local government, the San Jose Muscovado Factory has become one of the heritage sites being frequented by visitors who flock to Hinigaran.
