Antique Religious Items

Among the precious possessions that our town takes pride in is the rare antique French wooden statue of May Magdalene which have been brought over by Recollect missionaries during the early days of the town.
The precious antique statues, which shows Mary Magdalene with a flask on one hand and what seems to be a scarf on the other, dates back to the mid-1800s or perhaps even earlier. The flask perhaps symbolizes the fragrant oil or perfume she brought to pour over the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ as narrated in the bible.
